Just to check a ruling made at our last tournament. Meth A controls Kurt Strauss and a Tupdog. Meth B, A's prey, controls Gentha Shale and Ohoyo Hopoksia. Ohoyo Hopoksia (Bastet) Unique werewolf with 3 life. 3 strength, 0 bleed. When a minion you control is about to enter combat with an acting minion, you may tap Ohoyo to cancel that combat; Ohoyo enters combat with the acting minion instead. She gets an optional maneuver each combat. If she has less than 3 life during your untap phase, she gains 1 life from the blood bank. Kurt does something and is blocked by Gentha. Meth A taps Tupdog invoking the slave rule. We believe there is no time for B to tap Ohoyo, since combat between the acting (Kurt) and the blocking (Gentha) minion is immediately replaced by a combat between Tupdog (who is not the acting minion) and the blocking minion. Looks straightforward, but I wanted to ask just to be 100% sure. Abraço, Luiz Mello

[ quoted text not captured ] Right. The slave rule and Ohoyo's special share the same timing window. And the acting Methuselah gets the first chance to use an effect.
