Is it possible to put on a Satyr and then use the reaction version of the card? It would be quite gosu to have Satyr untapped rest of the game and cancel all S:CE from protean etc anyone plays :) I can't see why this isn't possible reding card text.

[ quoted text not captured ] You don't mention the name of the card, so hard to say. The "subject:"'s purpose is to describe the body, not to supplant it. No. Card text: "the basic ability". The reaction version is the superior. Besides, he can only use combat versions in any case. The Satyr can use the combat version to cancel a Form of Mist or whatnot, though. I do not grok "gosu", sorry. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Links to V:TES news, rules, cards, utilities, and tournament calendar: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/

> I do not grok "gosu", sorry. Current internet colloquialism for an elite or very good player or play. From Korean word meaning 'A better-hand', refering to a person with great skill, usually in martial arts but also including games. Robert Scythe, with off-hand shit I pick up from my younger brothers.

My wild guess would be Shape Mastery. In which case my wild assumption would be a fat no (as shape mastery lacks the text Nosferatu Putrescence, for instance, has). Bye, Daneel
