Tom (and everyone else): There's been some speculation that certain artwork from The Dark may have originally been intended for Jyhad. Top candidates: Blood of the Martyr (crying blood--obviously a World of Darkness Vampire), and Elves of Deep Shadows (*very* Gothic-Punk). Is this true? A couple of beer-bets have been made... -- Bill Kahler kahler@netcom.com

The Dark was conceived from the start as having a very goth/punk mood to it. Blood of the Martyr would actually make a bad vampire card, since it's not a portrait. In any case, I'm sure all the art for The Dark was made for The Dark, and isn't just Jyhad rejects. Tom Wylie rec.games.deckmaster Network Representative for aahz@hal.com Wizards of the Coast, Inc.
