A couple of questions. If one of you minions equips with a leather jacket possessed by another one of your minions, does he untap? Also, coordinate attacks is supposed to still allow the opponent to make nonstrike card strikes right? So he can still flamethrower, Claws of the Dead, or dodge with a Treasured Samadji right? Some people were asking about whether a leather jacket is worth it, or whether it is overpowered. Well then the above answer sure increases it's apparent value in my eyes. If you ever leave minions untapped to block, and you like for them to have equipment then leather jacket works great. It doesn't matter who had the jacket and the other equipment at the start of the turn, maybe one guy had a sports bike, a flamethrower, a flak jacket, and some IR goggles. You can use that guy to bleed or whatever. Then after the action, you can have another minion equip all the goodies, then untap so he can be there to block. I'm sure someone has mentioned this before but I had trouble finding an answer to my question earlier by searching the forum. Wisefool Mercuriel

Or you could use Heidelberg Castle (which would work without regards to Leather Jacket). And when your Leather Jacket goes boom, so does the leaving them untapped bit. It provides a very obvious target for theft or destruction, once people see it as the lynch-pin of a combo. (Bear in mind that with the Temptation of Greater Power deck, a number of people were seeing ToGP as the most vulnerable area rather than looking at the Justicar. So when people spot this may be tricky.) You'll also need to pass the equip action. Repeatedly. Since it's not a weapon, you can't use Disguised Weapon. Though if you're getting out a lot of equipment (as above) and are playing the Lasombra, you could always use Pier 13 and try and max out that one action (possible, but requires a little luck on the card flow, perhaps). Each transfer, however, will also require its own stealth. Anyone with a newspaper can block a +1 stealth action. Assuming you have, say, Felicia Mostrom (no equipment) taking them off Anson, the Equip action (to transfer equipment) is taken by Felicia. So she's going to need to be able to defend herself if she's blocked. And if you're playing equipment, you may not have that many transient cards. Or you're going to have to double up on equipment on both of them - which then loses some of the benefits of being able to pile them up. And if you *do* get blocked, that's two tapped minions and neither of them untapped. Less useful. You might also find Metro Underground to be potentially useful, if you can afford the pool. (Difficult in such an equipment intensive deck.) So, sure, it's a possible angle of attack. And it's potentially a very useful one. I don't think it's getting even close to "too powerful" though. -- James Coupe "I think Christmas has lost it's meaning... On more than one occasion I've had my vampires sit around doing nothing (staying untapped) even though I had a Leather Jacket or two in my hand. Mainly because I knew my Tzimisce predator/prey would easily intercept the action and I was out of S:CE. Halcyan 2

Don't know about overpowered, damn useful though. Leather Jackets are very common in decks that otherwise have little or no damage prevention POT/CEL IG decks being the most common. Even in those decks though, you don't see a hell of a lot of them in the deck ( 2-4 in my experience ) because even though you get to untap it still takes an action to get one. > I'm sure someone has mentioned this before but I had trouble finding > an answer to my question earlier by searching the forum. It had been asked before but it was some time ago. It just gets annoying when ppl ask a question that was answered only days ago.
