There are several master cards that do not indicate what types of
vampires (I'm referring to the location of the vamp: ready, in
torpor, or uncotrolled) they can be played on. While I can't come up
with reasons for playing all of the cards on all types of vampires,
there is a lot of ambiguity. Here are the cards I could find. I
hope there is some general principle that can be used. Many of the
other cards do say uncontrolled, in torpor, ready or controlled.
These I assume are only on ready vampires (using the ruling from a
long time ago, that masters can only be played on ready vampires).
Aching Beauty
Gangrel De-evolution
Golconda--Inner Peace
Misdirection
Skills (all of them)
Society of Leopold
Temptation of Greater Power
Tragic Love Affair
I'm sure there are others, but these were the ones I own.

pretty sure this card reads "play on a ready toreador" pretty straigtforward
note: on the left hand side of the card, it has a rose->symbol of toreador.
This means you must have an active toreador to plat this card
>Gangrel De-evolution
pretty sure it reads "play on a ready gangrel"(but I don't have the card so
don't take my word for it
>Golconda--Inner Peace
can play on any controlled vamps.

can play on any controlled vamps (but kind of silly to play on your own...)

can play on any controlled vamps

can play on any controlled vamp

have no idea what this does

this one reads "play on a ready toreador"

controlled is defined in the book.
ie yes you can play golconda on a 10pt vampire in torpor w/o any blood
you can also play a fortitude skill card on a vamp in torpor so that he/she
can use rapid healing to get out
actually I'm not sure if you can play skills on vampires in torpor or not.
hee hee ;)
someone correct me if I'm wrong (and I know you will)

Cards can never be played on uncontrolled vampires unless they
specifically say so (e.g. Brainwash).
