Question about Antediluvian Awakening: Errata says a vampire can only be burned to burn AA during the Methuselah's untap phase. Card text says each Methuselah burns 1 pool at the start of his untap phase. Does this mean that you cannot burn a vampire on your turn, during your untap phase, before you lose 1 pool? I know that usually you can take actions during a given phase in whatever order you like. But I wasn't sure about this one, and the card text suggests you can't, since "at the start of your untap phase" doesn't seem to mean much if it's really "but after any other untap actions you choose to take." -David

Sionce the first thing that happens during your untap phase is untapping, this text has been ruled (by general ruling) to mean "Takes place during your untap phase". > > Does this mean that you cannot burn a vampire on your turn, during your > untap phase, before you lose 1 pool? > No, you can order it either way round. (Burning the vampire aftferwards might be usefl in order to pull off a Parity Shift, or to avoid one.) > I know that usually you can take actions during a given phase in > whatever order you like. It means "After you have untapped all of your vampires, in any order relative to other effects taking palce at the same time." -- James Coupe | PGP Key 0x5D623D5D "I know my ex-boyfriend lies. "start of your untap phase" is not possible for effects - the only thing that happens at the "start of your untap phase" is the untapping of all of your cards. Other effects that occur during the untap phase can be ordered as you wish [4]. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
