1) If Selma maneuvers with a strike-provider, then that locks *her*
strike for the initial strike of the round. So, she can't then throw
the sewer lid, regardless of what the Ghoul wishes to use. (Another
way of looking at this is that the Ghoul's use of the weapon doesn't
constitute a "strike", so won't fulfill the requirements of using the
weapon's maneuver).

Using a gun's maneuver locks you into striking with that gun for the
initial strike of the round. If your minion gets additional strikes,
any strike can be used for the additionals, including firing the gun again.

Dodges just prevent effects of strikes, and damage from retainers (even
damage provided by a weapon via Ghoul Retainer) are just collateral damage.
While the damage may be prevented, it cannot be avoided with a dodge.

2) Retainers cannot use maneuvers in the stead of their employer.
Some retainers provide maneuvers to their employer (Ms. Therman),
but it is still the employer who must use the maneuver.

Ghould Retainer can strike with a weapon, but wouldn't be able to use it
to maneuver.
