Hello, Could someone please help me with this question I have? My question is: In combat can a vampire abstain from a strike. Or to put it in clearer terms: does a vampire have to hit the other vampire he or she is fighting. Can they abstain from taking any action at all in combat? Also, is there another newsgroup created for "Vampire:tes" or is going to remain the main forum for Jyhad and Vampire? Thanx in advance for the help ******************************************************************************** @@@@@ @@@ @@@@@@ | @@@ @@@ @@@@@@@ | @@! @@! !@@ | !@! !@! !@! | Jay I Simmons !!@ !!@ !!@@!! |e-mail:simm...@ucbeh.san.uc.edu !!! !!! !!@!!! | !!: !!: !:! | !!: :!: :!: :!: :!: !:! | ::: ;::; ::: :: ::: ; :; | :;::;" !:! ::; !:! ::;::; | ******************************************************************************** "Please dont wake me, no dont shake me. Can they abstain from taking any action at all in combat? A vampire cannot choose to abstain from striking a foe in combat; they must choose a strike, even if it is an obviously useless one (i.e. hands when combat is at long range, dodge when opponent has already dodged.) : Also, is there another newsgroup created for "Vampire:tes" or is going to : remain the main forum for Jyhad and Vampire? There was a brief flurry of discussion about changing the name, and then the topic died down completely. It seemed to be the consensus that nobody wants to go through the hassle of creating the new group and rmgrouping this one for what is essentially a marketing move on the part of WotC. Shane H.W. A minion must choose a strike, he cannot abstain from punching with hands if no other strike is used. >Also, is there another newsgroup created for "Vampire:tes" or is going to >remain the main forum for Jyhad and Vampire?
