And as Amaranth is a combat card, and requires the opposing minion to be going to torpor _in combat_, it all falls down. >> Now first of all is This possible. Rotschreck causes a vamp to go to torpor _after_ combat ends. > Now first of all is This possible. Secondly will this combo beat the > Combat ends, Dodge cards. It will beat S:CE and dodge (and all other strikes, since the Rotschreck keeps the strikes from resolving). It gets beaten by Psyche! and Telepathic Tracking. Also note that you can only play Rotschreck when it's not your turn (because it's an Out of Turn Master), so you'd have to block somebody or be rushed, and you can only play one Rotschreck per turn (because it's a Master). --Colin McGuigan

For the combo to get even better, add inscription :) Inscription with burst of sunlight will be a permanent rotschreck monster since you don't have to burrn the burst/inscription to play the Rotschrek :) Unfortunately you can only use one Rotschreck each turn, but the out of turn part will not be hard with (!)Tremere (with aus or AUS). Finding the Inscription will be available by magic of the smith, and maybe the wallpaper location of the !Tremere (Spirit Summoning Chamber) might even come in handy to search for the burst you want ;) Just have minion in wait to diablerize and then use ritual. Make them Black hand !Tremere and use Ebony Fox Hunt (damn, another master out of turn). Just a basic deck idea here ;) > Now first of all is This possible. Secondly will this combo beat the > Combat ends, Dodge cards. Jups. One of the main reasons to use rotschreck infact.

You have to burn the Inscription in order to use the Burst of Sunlight card to declare your strike as "Burst of Sunlight", which must be done in order to satisfy the requirements of Rötschreck. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
