Hi, in the rules, I cannot play more intercept than I need. So if vampire A makes a +1 stealth action and vampire B uses an Enhanced Senses to block, must he uses only the minor version ( +1 intercept) ? If yes, than vampire A uses minor lost in crowd to increase his stealth by 1, can vampire B changes his mind and uses the ES with superior auspex (+2 intercept) or must he uses another intercept card ? With the same idea ; can I use more stealth than I need ? Thanks for your time, ra...@mediom.qc.ca www.mediom.qc.ca/~rafid/

More correctly, you cannot play an intercept card if you are able to block the action without it. > So if vampire A makes a +1 stealth action and vampire B > uses an Enhanced Senses to block, must he uses only the > minor version ( +1 intercept)? You may play the superior version for +2 intercept. > With the same idea ; can I use more stealth than I need ? No. You may only play stealth cards if another minion is attempting to block the action and is currently able to successfully do so. Right. You cannot play inctercept unless you need intercept, but you are free to overshoot the need. > > So if vampire A makes a +1 stealth action and vampire B > > uses an Enhanced Senses to block, must he uses only the > > minor version ( +1 intercept)? > > You may play the superior version for +2 intercept. Yes, you are free to overshoot the need with stealth just as you are with intercept. You can play superior Lost In Crowds even if you only need 1 stealth. But, as Noal says, you cannot play stealth unless you need stealth. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
