Hi all, I've got two questions: 1) What exactly is "using equipment"? I mean, under Drawing out The beasti cannot use my equipment. Can i use the POT from te Eye of Hazimel? (probably asked before, if so, sorry) 2) If i think it is inmy best interest to oust myself (and i can prove that to the judge) Am i allowed to do so? For instance: 3 players left, i am already certain of a place in the finals and i am not going strong in this game because my prey plays my nemesis-deck...If he takes the table he will be in the final too, if my predator wins, my prey won't be in the final (and i am less afraid of my predator). If i oust myself my predator will probably take the table. I could argue that it is better for me to oust myself because it increase my chances of winning the tournament. I think the answer is "no i cannot" because i have to try maximise my chances in this game (even if it is only 1 VP at max), right? W

Using equipment: doing anything that you couldn't do if the equipment were not in play. > Can i use the POT from te Eye of Hazimel? No. > 2) If i think it is inmy best interest to oust myself (and i can prove > that to the judge) Am i allowed to do so? In your best interest *in the current game*, then yes. > For instance: 3 players left, i am already certain of a place in the > finals and i am not going strong in this game because my prey plays my > nemesis-deck...If he takes the table he will be in the final too, if > my predator wins, my prey won't be in the final (and i am less afraid > of my predator). Out-of-game stuff (e.g., who goes to the finals) cannot be used in deciding what is in your best interest in the current game. > I could argue that it is better for me to oust myself because it > increase my chances of winning the tournament. That argument is immaterial to the current game. > I think the answer is "no i cannot" because i have to try maximise my > chances in this game (even if it is only 1 VP at max), right? Ah. If someone pulls that trick at the next tournament, then he will be toast ;)
