(posting from Google just 'cause my cable modem setup is not quite complete, so remote access to at&t's news server isn't viable yet..) So, I remember way back in February '01 (google archive here: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8& selm=kzCg6.1839%24H_3.395083%40typhoon.ne.mediaone.net ), I posted a little "challenge". The challenge was to get Beast, Leatherface of Detroit, to join the Camarilla. At the time, I think there was no possible way to do so. But with the release of the CE, there is finally a way! The new Derange allows a Malkavian to play it on Beast. So Beast can become a Cam Malk, and you could even make him a Primogen (with Of Noble Blood), or Malkavian Justicar! Wheee! :) However, there's a problem, and a question: Problem: Deranged Beast can't untap without burning the precious blood he needs in combat. Oh well, the perils of being ugly *and* crazy. Maybe he needs a permanent cell of his own in the Asylum Hunting Ground. ;) But it could be fun for a Madness Network rush-combat deck... Question: Can Deranged Beast take the action to move Derange off of himself onto another minion, or does this count as an "action card action"? If he becomes a Malk, is he stuck a Malk forever?

He could also take the action to burn an Army of Rats. Action card actions are actions that begin by playing an action card from your hand. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Since you're already using Malks, you might as well use that Auspex for Precognizant Mobility. Untap Beast multiple times so he can attack multiple times (with his special, Bum's Rush, Ambush, and Harass). Halcyan 2

Yeah, he's actionally-impaired. Sorry, change that to just his special, Haven Uncovered, and Blood Hunt attacks. Happy now? Halcyan 2 *not* actionally-impaired

[ quoted text not captured ] Make him a Templar first before you Derange him into a Cam Malk, then make him an Archon. He then gets three rushes per turn. - Rafe
