Just to confirm. A vampire calls a Kine Resources Contested. The vote provided by the KRC can either be for or against the referendum? Greetings, Damnans

I could only think of one time you might want to cast itagainst: You have 1 pool, your prey has more than 3 and you need to get it out of your hand. Which brought me to a question: If you oust yourself and your prey at the same time (eg with a KRC) can you make them go first (collecting 6 pool and staying in)? If you both go at once does your prey's VP go up in smoke? (I'm guessing one of you must go first....) I know that you can order an Anarch Revolt and Army of Rats in your untap to stay in at your prey's expense but they are seperate effects from different cards...

You're not trying hard enough. Treachery has just been played. Any given vote that you want to cycle from your hand, but the passing of which would be a pain right now e.g. the First Tradition, Reins of Power when your predator is playing Arika and Queen Anne. Malkavian Rider Clause has just been played. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D Lucky that my breasts are small and humble, EBD690ECD7A1FB457CA2 So you don't confuse them with mountains. 13D7E668C3695D623D5D

You're both ousted, but you still get a VP (your predator also gets a VP). 9.1 Victory Points ... EXCEPTION: If a player is ousted at the same time that her prey is ousted, the player gets the victory point but does not gain 6 pool. salem domain:canberra http://www.geocities.com/salem_christ.geo/vtes.htm

Each Methuselah may gain one vote by using a political action card. These cards say "worth 1 vote" to indicate this. If a political action card was used to call the referendum, that card provides a vote for the acting vampire's controller. Other political action cards used for votes are simply burned without regard to the text on the cards. Each Methuselah can gain no more than 1 vote from political action cards. from 6.3.2 Polling. All Methuselahs may now cast any votes they have (see below) at this time, in any order. They call out their votes freely, and there is no obligation to vote. Once a vote has been cast, however, it cannot be changed. The polling stage is completed only when all Methuselahs are finished voting (if you need a time limit, the players can agree to wait 15 seconds after the last vote cast to close the polling stage). Resolve the referendum. If there are more votes for the referendum than against, the referendum passes, and the effects of the successful referendum take place. Otherwise, the referendum fails and has no effect. Tied referendums fail. neither part says anything about whether the vote has to be in favour or against, or even if it has to be cast at all. You just gain 1 for the PA card used to call the referendum, and then you may cast it freely, with no obligation to vote. so yes, the vote can be for or against. it can also be not cast at all.
