Hello All, Maybe I'm not searching the GenCon DB correctly, but I can't find any V:TES events at GenCon. I'm assuming there are some, and I'm just not searching correctly. What are the event titles? I've searched for VTES, V:TES, VEKN, Vampire, and Jyhad, without success. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Ira

They don't appear inclined to answer your questions in public. LSJ is generally very responsive on this open forum, and I believe Oscar replies as well when he has the time. Since it was a question that I thought might be relevant to many players, I posted it here. I suspect if I had directly addressed LSJ in my original post, he would have replied. It didn't seem urgent enough of a question to bother LSJ by invoking his name, so I left it open to the community. That said, I periodically e-mail them privately, too, so your advice is good. :) > However, when I searched here: > http://community.gencon.com/files/folders/pmcompletecatalogs/entry105... > > I found these: > White Wolf/ VEKN LSJ TCG00186 Undue Influence > White Wolf/ VEKN LSJ TCG00187 Switchblade of Caine > White Wolf/ VEKN LSJ TCG00188 US Nationals I > White Wolf/ VEKN LSJ TCG00189 Phased Motion Format > White Wolf/ VEKN LSJ TCG00190 US Nationals II > White Wolf/ VEKN LSJ TCG00191 Scattershot Thanks for taking the time to post about these events. I look forward to playing in the US Nationals I, and hopefully some Undue Influence. If any VTES players are planning on going and want to coordinate hotel rooms, please feel free to contact me at ira at irafay dot con. Ira

Indeed, the V:EKN rules specify both the formula and the exact values given by the formula for each possible choice of "number of packs", in an effort just to be clear. http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/index.php?line=veknRules#sec7.2.2 >> US Nationals I Sanctioned Booster Draft. 3 Third Edition and 2 Sword >> of Caine boosters per player. 2R+F, and results used in crowning the >> US champion. I saw that title as screaming their names. VTES Events How can that not be a plaintive cry for an Organized Play Coordinator? at Gencon How can that not be a plaintive cry for the person running the events? In any case, I hope to bleed you there.
