player 1: Strike: Body of Sun / Burst of Sunlight / etc. (both vamps dmged) player 2: Strike: Whatever -- not dodge though. Strk Res... player 1: No prevent dmg cards player 2: Prevents all dmg from strike Result: Player 1 is damaged according to the card. Player 2 is not damaged by that strike. P.S. It's really pretty obvious if you read the rulebook (Although the 'book is bloody ambiguous in certain instances. For example: One would think that the Thaumaturgy skill is a scholarly thing involving complex rituals, memorizing sorcerous chants, etc. But what about this: Player 1: plays Drawing out the Beast (allowing the opponent to only perform hand strikes, right?) Player 2: plays a Thaumaturgy strike card (say: Blood Fury) Can this be done ^ ? )

No, dissallowing weapons is not the same as allowing only hand strikes. >Player 2: plays a Thaumaturgy strike card (say: Blood Fury) > Can this be done ^ ? ) Sure.
