Hi Methuselahs, Well, tommorrow is the big day for our WOTC wakeup call. Don't worry about it being a holiday, the mail will still be there Tue. In fact, since all will be visible at once, it might be more effective. Here is the list of target mailings: Thomas R Wylie <aa...@cats.ucsc.edu> Shawn F Carnes <sw...@castle.wizards.com> Customer Service <cust...@wizards.com> Rules Questions <ques...@wizards.com> DCI Tournament questions <d...@wizards.com> For those of you who may not have been following this thread, we are going to send a short list of concerns / questions to the above addresses on Monday. I will list some sample questions / concerns at the bottom of this post. This is IMPORTANT - be polite! Be respectfull! Remeber that we have a very valid concern, so logical argument should work in our favor. Questions for WOTC (the Algustas version): 1)Where is our support? (More of a statement than a question, but the most important one.) 2)Under DCI tourney rules, does the "no repat actions" apply if an action is unsuccessfull? 3)Under DCI touney rules, do political action cards thrown in for extra votes get replaced at the end of the acting Methuselah's turn, or at the end of owning players turn? 4)What is a "hand strike" for purposes of Immortal Grapple / Torn Signpost? Is Scorpion Sting a hand strike? How about using a Bastard Sword? Please clarify.... Well, this is the list of questions that I will send. Use your own judgement, but try to keep it short and to the point. Algustas *****In union there is strength***** Aesop, The Bundle of Sticks

You might just tick him off. If you say something about how you loved the support he gave us, and just thought he should be in on this, then say so. But I wouldn't send the same copy to the others as I send to Tom. > Shawn F Carnes <sw...@castle.wizards.com> Definitely deserves the "strongest" version. > Customer Service <cust...@wizards.com> > Rules Questions <ques...@wizards.com> > DCI Tournament questions <d...@wizards.com> All good. It's too bad we don't have a way to directly reach Richard Garfield with just one message (bombing him would be bad). I think he would really take to such an outcry from fans so devoted to one of his games. > Questions for WOTC (the Algustas version): > 1)Where is our support? I would send separate messages with the appropriate questions to the appropriate parties. If they all get a message with the other addresses in the CC:, they're less likely, IMHO, to respond. Mike

(More of a statement than a question, but >the most important one.) Shawn asked me to pass along his response to Steve Bucy's message along the above lines. Here it is: Steve> [No offense, hope you understand...] No problem. I understand completely. Over the past couple of weeks, I have been trying to find someone to take over the responsibilities of being a net-rep for the list. My work load simply does not allow me to follow through on the ten hours a week I feel necessary to monitor and aid the list. I simply cannot do it anymore, not with the specific time-oriented responsibilities I have to do for R&D. Your letter(s), if anything, will let people know that there is a need. If you could pass this along to the net, that would be great. -- L. No problem. This is the response I got. I stated to shawn that I knew everyone at WotC was probably too busy to handle V:TES and maybe they should get someone to handle V:TES exclusively. If that was not possible they should at least find someone to be the net-rep. I guess that's what they are working on... Steve Bucy
