However, there is still much arguement over this one, and I suspect that many people play with house rules that have it the other way. >3. Are multiple Army of rats cards cumulative? For example if >my pred. has 3 armies in play I lose 3 pool or just one. Army of Rats is *not* cumulative. This is errata to the card (which taken literally would be cumulative). The card was written incorrectly. >4. It's the next vote called, period. That would mean that any player's minion could be the one calling the vote. Cryptic Rider specifically restricts who may call the next vote and when, but Lobby doesn't, so there's no reason your prey can't be the one to get her vote through. >5. Do you have to play all action modifiers as you declare the >action or can you hold them and play them after you are not >blocked? You only have to play action modifiers that say "must be played as the action is announced" as you declare the action. Other modifiers (such as the Dominate cards that increase bleed) can be played any time during the action, even after other Methuselahs have declilned to block. Does it : mean that you can't play any cards or that if you play a card : the combat will continue after that for 3 rounds? It means that there is an automatic press (which will continue combat _unless_ it is cancelled by a played press or combat is ended by some other method) which will remain in effect for three rounds after the last round in which a card was played. This _includes_ the Trap, so even if no cards are ever played except the trap, combat will go four rounds. If someone plays a card, re-start the counter. : 2. Does Rotschreck send the vampire about to receive aggravated : dmg to torpor or the one using aggravated? The one using aggravated. This is a recent reversal by the design team. : 3. Are multiple Army of rats cards cumulative? For example if : my pred. has 3 armies in play I lose 3 pool or just one. You lose one, and it would take three successful actions to get rid of all the AoR cards. : 4. Does the charming lobby enable other players than the one : playing the charming lobby to have their votes pass : automatically or does it mean that only the next vote called by : the playing methuselah passes without a vote? I asked this same question of Tom in private e-mail. The answer I got was, "I'm not sure. I'll ask." Haven't heard back or seen anything since. : 5. Do you have to play all action modifiers as you declare the : action or can you hold them and play them after you are not : blocked? It is perfectly acceptable to wait until a block is declined before playing any action mods. It is about the only time anyone ever uses conditioning or threats around here... Hmmm... I see where our difference lies. My interpretation is; Round 4 Resolve strikes Three full rounds have gone by with no cards played - trap expires No auto press - combat over. Any official interpretations of this? [ quoted text not captured ]
