When two Vampires are "contested", where is the vampire officially on the playing field. Is he considered in the "controled" area? Obviously he is not in torpor or the uncontroled area. Real question is, if one of my vampires is contested, can I use the Master "Minion Tap" to "move as much blood as you want from one of the vampires you control to your blood pool" Question came up tonight and we agreed you could not use Minion Tap in this way. But, if you still "control" the contested vampire, maybe this is the incorrect interpretation of this play. Any opinions on this.

The vampire is effectively out of play. You cannot do anything with/to that vampire, including using Minion Tap on it.
