JustinF has probably already done this but we have a little problem at
the moment.
Basically, on the playtest card list, I spotted a loop-hole in the
wording of one of the cards which was supposed to let you get out any
normal piece of equipment - not unique, or whatever.
It all boils down to the fact that a locquipment isn't a location until
it's in play. JustinF pointed out that Bauble would, therefore, have
exactly the same problem.
All it tells you to look for any non-unique, non-location equipment.
Since locquipment is equipment when in your library (for the purposes of
things like Magic of the Smith) but only a location when in play (AFAIK)
I theoretically could get Ruins of Villars Abbey out with a Bauble, burn
the Bauble but not have to burn the Ruins because they are no longer
equipment and the acting vampire would be fine. Free locquipment.
Shite.
What is the current ruling on Bauble cos we know how it *should* work
but we need to know how it and locquipment currently do work?

I shall personally come around to your houses and drag you out by the scruff of
the neck. I shall belt you around the mouth and mouth you around the belt. Do
you understand what I'm saying?

Excuse me? Didn't you just answer your own question? It says to look
for non-location equipment. Since Ruins of Villars Abbey, etc. are
equipment: location cards, then you would not be able to get them with
Bauble. Since Magic of the Smith does not have this wording, since
loquipment did not exist when it was written, AFAIK you could use it,
but not Bauble.

All the loquipments say "This equipment card represents a unique location"
(Dark Sovereigns/Ancient Hearts) or "Equipment, Location. This equipment
card represents a unique location." (Sabbat).
These are excluded by the card text on Bauble.

No, my point is that they were only supposed to count as locations once
in play. When equipping them or fetching them from your library they
wouldn't be a location.
Which is pretty bad, really.
