A recent commercial message here mentioned that Jyhad would be available in starter decks. From this I gather that Jyhad is WotC's second deckmaster game, not just an expansion to MtG (sorry if this is in the newsletter, I haven't subscribed). My question is (if my assumption is correct) will Jyhad be interoperable w/ MtG? That is, can I just buy a few boosters to add to my Magic cards, or is a completely separate game that must be played separately? -rmh

Jyhad is a completely separate game from Magic the Gathering. The cards will not be compatible between the different games. Avatar

My question is >(if my assumption is correct) will Jyhad be interoperable w/ MtG? Jyhad is a completely separate game from Magic, and the two are not designed to be interchangeable. You could *try* to mix the two, but you'd really have to work at it hard. Tom Wylie rec.games.deckmaster Network Representative for aahz@hal.com Wizards of the Coast, Inc.
