In JOL2 my prey put a Society of Leopold on my 0 blood Smudge. What happens on my next untap? He has no blood to lose, so does that mean he is automatically burned with no recourse? --George

[ quoted text not captured ] Remember that you get to order your untap effects in the order you wish. So you could give Smudge blood from a Hunting Ground, and then resolve Society, allowing Smudge to burn 1 blood rather than himself. But if you have no way to give him blood during your untap then he is burned without recourse, yes. Yes, unless you have a hunting groud (or other mechanism to put a blood on Smudge before the end of your untap). -- L.
