This is a hypothetical situation: say Form of Mist is played, ending combat and allowing the action to continue at +1 stealth. Psyche is then played by the opponent, continuing combat. If the acting vamp is torpored/burned in the second combat, I presume the action will not continue. What about if the vamp isn't torpored/burned?

However, people could make a case since you play Earth Meld and untap you don't get the untap after psyche, a similar case would happen here.

There is no official ruling, currently. Net opinion is mostly with you on this one. >However, people could make a case since you play Earth Meld and untap >you don't get the untap after psyche, a similar case would happen here. Yes, but blocking causes combat, rather than combat causes the block. Psyche starts a new combat, but starting a combat does not cause a block, and Psyche has no special text that says it causes a block. The position that it SHOULD is not unreasonable, just opposed by a literal reading of the card and the rules. Curt Adams (curt...@aol.com)
