Reform body and the soul gem

Just a quick question, If for instance Dragos got a soul gem and then vissitude poisoning...then played enough cards to burn him self would he trigger the soul gem if he burned and then played a reform body. No. Soul Gem kicks in when the bearer is burned. Reform Body replaces the burn effect with a go to torpor effect. If you wait for the Soul Gem effect to kick in before playing Reform Body, Dragos will be safely in the ash heap by the time the Soul Gem effect is finished, and cannot play Reform Body.
