i would like to suggest that a panel of international judges should be used at the ec in france. seeing the recent differences in play style and philosophy between france and the rest of europe i think this would weaken the fears about unfair rulings. stefan

[ quoted text not captured ] I believe the head judge at the EC will represent V:EKN and WW more than adequately. The fears some players have formed based on unofficial posts about certain players' play style (not necessarily a whole country's play style) are a separate issue. If the players making such unofficial posts as if they were official would kindly stop, that would be a great help in keeping these rumors and the fears they cause at bay. Besides, it's a little late in the game to try rewriting the V:EKN rules to accomodate a panel of judges. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. if players from paris write that the price of paris is going to disencourage table splitting deals than all players have the right to be coincerned that this ec is not going to be held by vekn rules. i still strongly suggest at least some international playing judges. stefan LSJ <vte...@white-wolf.com> schrieb in im Newsbeitrag: 3B67F957...@white-wolf.com... And he's issued a correction, saying that his earlier post had been in error. The prince of paris is not going to discourage legal play. > table splitting deals than all players have the right to be coincerned that > this ec is not going to be held by vekn rules. i still strongly suggest at > least some international playing judges. One cannot advocate breaking the V:EKN rules to ensure that they are not broken. The only way to have playing judges is by using the multi-judge system, which cannot be used if more than 20 players are playing. I hope that the EC has more than 20 players.
