Hi folks... Reverand Blackwood's ability reads that he inflicts +1 damage with any strike card that requires Thaumaturgy. Question is, if you do a theft of vitae does the the strike now cause 1 damage and 2 blood drain? Would the damage or the blood drain resolve first? (I imagine that is the good Reverand's choice?). No. There is no damage in a steal blood strike to modify, so the modifier cannot apply to it. -- James Coupe | PGP Key 0x5D623D5D "What's wrong with wanting more? If you can fly -- then soar! (I > imagine that is the good Reverand's choice?). No. His ability only affect damage-dealing strikes from strike cards. Online rulings: * Adding damage to strikes which are not damage dealing strikes will not deal damage (e.g., using Lucky Blow and choosing your Rowan Ring melee weapon won't deal damage) [RTR 21-FEB-1996] -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
