"Venture Justicar"?

Just received some Jyhad packs, and one of the cards was rather odd. The card name is "Venture Justicar" - note the 'ur' not the 'ru'. The card text says something about making a Tremere into a Justicar. At first I didn't even question it, because I thought that the card name was a coincidence, but I decided to check anyway. The official card list on white wolf's site mentions 'Venture Justicar' as an alternate spelling to 'Ventrue Justicar', and the card text there talks about, obviously, making a Ventrue into a Justicar. So was this a truly Royal Screwup in the printing of the card (and, heh, is it worth something?)? Is there such a card as "Tremere Justicar" in the original Jyhad set, and if so, what does the text say? Are there any other cards which are _that_ messed up in the first printing?

Yes, that's basically it. There were a number of such misprints in the original Jyhad. There were also misprints in V:tES, though they were a completely different set. > Is there such a card as > "Tremere Justicar" in the original Jyhad set, > and if so, what does the text say? Yes. It said just what you'd expect it to say: "Choose a ready Tremere. Success vote means he or she is declared Tremere Justicar. In this vote, each Tremere gets 1 extra vote. This could lead to a contested title." > Are there any other cards which are _that_ > messed up in the first printing? Yes. Fred

Some other typos as well, but nothing that affects game play like Venture Justicar would. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Sure (heh). It's worth 1 vote. <grin> Regards, R. David Zopf Atom Weaver [ quoted text not captured ]
