I am a little confused as to exactly how strikes are played in combat. Sometimes I have a card that I want to play if the other guy does not use a card, or sometimes the other way around. Is there a standard as to who chooses his strike first? Many times I get an endless loop (are you going to use a card, I don't know are you, ...) It seems to me that the attacker should decide his strike first, if a card then play it face down. Then the defender should choose a strike the same way. Then flip them over and see what happens. --------- Paul Schaaf schaaf@u.washington.edu

Once chosen, the strike cannot be changed in reaction to the strike the blocking minion chooses.
