Questions about Victoria's ability

Here's one for all you rulemongers, sorry if it's an old one. Victoria's special ability says:_If Victoria is ready during your master phase, you may forfeit the edge to gain 2 pool_. What I would like to know is; if you use this ability must you tap Victoria and/or will doing this use up your master phase action? All help will be appreciated. Thank-you The ability is independent of the master phase action and of Victoria's tapping. So, "no" to both. The only cost you incur when using her special ability is the loss of the Edge. -- L. No. Please note that you can give up the edge and regain it later with Madness Network at the end of your predators turn to keep getting 3 blood a turn from that edge. Rory

This allows you to have the Edge when your master phase comes around (just because you get the Edge during your turn doesn't mean that you will keep it until your next turn). Thus, Madness Network is required.

True, but getting it with the Network at the end of your predator's minion phase makes it so that it's impossible for anyone to take it from you before your turn. You can't say the same about getting it at any other time, really. -ru
