If A Minion w/ Sup POT plays Immortal Graple. Can that mionio strike with Bang Nakh-Tiger's Claws. If the same Minion plays Torn Signpost and has Bang Nakh-Tiger's Claws. will he have 5 hand damage. One more. If that same minion starts off combat by playing Increased Strength +2 to POT Cards. Then he plays Torn Signpost is his hand damage 5? He also adds Fist of Death for +2 whould that be +4? That minion strikes with Undead Strength for +2 whould that also be +4. So that minion would strike for 13 hand damage right? Droz

IG specifies "hand strikes" and using a melee weapon is not a "hand strike". > If the same Minion plays Torn Signpost and has Bang Nakh-Tiger's Claws. > will he have 5 hand damage. He can do 5 damage as a strike. A melee weapon strike is not "hand damage". Hand damage is used as a base for figuring damage from a melee weapon. > One more. Torn Signpost sets base hand damage to 3 Fists of Death add 2 to base hand damage. Increased Strength adds 2 damage to Potence STRIKES Undead Strength is base hand damage +2 (3+2) + (2+2) = 9 damage Noal McDonald Great Googily Moogily of Westland MI -- "DISCUSSION, n. No. A Strike with a weapon is not a hand strike, so is not allowed under Immortal Grapple. > If the same Minion plays Torn Signpost and has Bang Nakh-Tiger's Claws. > will he have 5 hand damage. Not quite. He can strike with the Tiger Claws for 5 damage. > One more. If that same minion starts off combat by playing Increased > Strength +2 to POT Cards. > Then he plays Torn Signpost is his hand damage 5? No. His hand damage (now called "his strength") is 3 and any potence strikes he makes will be at +2. Increased Strength only affects potence strike cards, not potence cards in general. > He also adds Fist of Death for +2 whould that be +4? That would make his strength 5 (3+2) and he would still deal an additional 2 damage from any potence strike. > That minion strikes with Undead Strength for +2 whould that also be +4. That strike would do strength+2+2 damage. > So that minion would strike for 13 hand damage right? Since his strength is 5, the Undead Strength strike would deal 9 damage. -- L.
