Helicopter via Diablerie

A vampire with an untapped Helicopter is in torpor. Another vampire without a vehicle diablerizes and takes the Helicopter. Does the Helicopter tap? "When a minion equips with the Helicopter, tap it. After resolving a successful action, this minion may tap the Helicopter to untap. A minion may have only one vehicle." I assume not because the dialerist is taking a diablerie action which has the side effect of gaining equipment (sometimes). TIA. Jeff

[ quoted text not captured ] Side effect isn't really the issue. The issue is whether he's equipping (like Pier 13) or whether you're just moving the equipment card (like Redistribution). The rule reads like a simple change of control, so it's just movement. The Helicopter doesn't tap.
