This is a bizzare question but our group has enough malkavians out there that this could happen. If someone plays malk. dementia on say Normal, that person would now control Normal till their next untap phase. What would happen if another person played a malk. dementia on Normal? On that person's next untap phase would Normal go back to the first person since he was the controller at the time or would Normal go back to the the original owner. On top of that, if Normal goes back to the person who played the malk. dementia, would Normal revert to the original owner on their next untap phase? Just another wierd and crazy thing that COULD happen :-) Jeff

She can "no longer control" him just as easily when Normal is under someone else's control as when he is not. (DTR 11/9/94): Malkavian Dementia: If you lose control of the Malkavian before your next untap phase, the new controller retains possession of the Malkavian, even after it gets back to your untap phase.

Suppose Player C starts with Normal. Player A uses Malkavian Dementia to take control of Normal. While Player A has control of Normal, Player B uses Malkavian Dementia to take control of him. When it gets back to Player A's untap, Normal does not go back to Player C, since B still has control of him. Only on Player B's untap does Player C get Normal back.
