Well, being the big Watenda fan I am, I was looking at the artwork, wondering just who's shruken head he was holding, and I happened to reread his text. Does Watenda's ability have to be used immediatly after the card your trying to cancel? Or could you wait til later, and do something more insidious -- like cancel the card when your opponent can't play it again... For example wait until after maneuvers, and cancel someone's Torn Signpost, Immortal Grapple, etc.? I've always assumed you couldn't, but I can't find anything that favors either side. :-/ -- /\ Jasper Phillips /VVVVVVVVVVVVVV|~"~"~"~"~"~"----------........____ jaz j^^^^^^^^^^^^^\/"~"~"~"~-----------........._____ ~"~--. * http://www.engr.orst.edu/~philljas/ "~"~'--`

Yes. It is used when the card in question is played. -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@wizards.com) VTES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
