Has there ever been a ruling forbidding Hell Hounds from using Zip Guns?
Just checking. I want to do this in my next deck, and I'm sure someone
will be offended by the very notion.

hehe...
I wanna see a hellhound in a flak jacket with an assault rifle and a
few grenades :)
Or a flamethrower. "What do you mean I'm not a real hellhound? Pilot
light, fuel tanks? No damnit, I breathe flame!"
Or a bomb. "Go boy. Go fetch the stick at the Elysium. I'll have a
big treat for you when you get back."

No.

Is the Marijava Ghoul cumulative? I assume so, since it is a retainer like
the Raptor, but I am just checking.

Add to that list:
A Hellhound with a Hawg, .44 Magnum, IR Goggles, and RPG Launcher.
Ouch.
Or a Hellhound with a Ghoul Retainer. (one of the few retainers that
doesn't require a vamp, at least if the card text is right.)
Or the two combined. Double Ouch.
This is when "Far Mastery" really sucks, though :)

No. You don't need an action to equip Hell Hound with a Zip Gun, and he
doesn't have card text which denies him the use of weapons.

Neat ideas. There is only one little problem: Hell Hound can take NO
actions (in particular: no equipping actions) and there is no way to
equip an ally without letting him take an equip action (You can only
redistribute equipment or retainers with Heidelburg Castle on VAMPIRES).
But a US-Army deck with Neonates is fun too. Just use a Huntingground to
simulate the automatic regeneration.

Yes. Everything is cumulative unless it has errata (only Army of Rats
has such errata), or the effect is 'set to X' instead of '+X'.

oh, yeah. Forgot the hellhound can't actually do anything. Guess
that comes from not looking at one in a few years :)
The imagery just isn't as good with something like an arms dealer tho.
Much more reasonable, but not as amusing.

Well, one can always hope for expansions.
If one were to play with the house rule that "Concealed Weapon" is a
disciplineless card (as, evidently, it was originally intended), then
Hell Hounds could get weapons. There would still be no way to give them
retainers or equipment, however. I'd love to see a Hell Hound with Mr.
Winthrop and a Sports Bike.
I, for one, see no reason why Hell Hound should be forbidden from
having retainers. After all, he's such a nice looking doggie. Does it
really matter who's walking whom?

It is the name we gave the concept of massive armed weeny combat. I
don't want to blame the US-Army.
You rely on a horde of (replacable) foot soldiers which are armed with
the best high-tech equipment available and shoot all opposition to bits
with hideous firepower. The immense costs are paid with Consangineous
Boons and Autarkis Persecution (you will need to use Vote Domination
tactics, since you really don't want a Peace Treaty to pass. If you fail
to push your votes through, you soon feel the cold grip of a financial
defecit, just like in the US...)
Basically it is a Brujah Anarch design, using this clan's unique
abilities concerning equipment and weeny vote power for pool
refreshment.
Black Cat, Arms Dealer, Al's Army Apparatus, Vast Wealth (for Black Cat)
are the core cards for the deck.
You make massive use of:
3rd tradition and embrace (for reinforcements)
Assault Rifles and SMGs, combined with ammo cards, used with celerity
Flack Jackets for protection
the brujah allies (all at the bargain price of only 1 pool: they can
equip, Arson, Rush when equipped and count as a minion for Autarkis
Persecution)
It is fairly effective, but only when you can catch your game group in
its toes, that is when the other decks are ill-equipped to fight massive
long range firepower.
And the simulation of regeneration: Hell Hound gains 1 life if he has
less then 2 lifes during untap. I found that he is a very useful Ally in
a low combat environment and to stop unwilling trespassers bleeding you
due to a bleed bounce.
Was it that what you wanted to know?
