Well, since I'm posting everything else, I thought I'd post this Sabbat rediddle of my gangrel rush deck; the traffic here is pretty light anyway. I haven't tried it yet, but it should be great fun with the Succubus Club -- "How much do _you_ bid for our services?" Anyone else ever even use the Succubus club in a deck, and have a use for it? I want it to be a necromancy weenie deck (unfortunately there is a total of... one necro weeny?) so it has the fault of not actually having existing vampires to create its effect. I would have to put in plenty of skill cards. And the only other real card would be Jar the Soul (and a handful of deflections, computer hackings and combat ends effects). The trick I realized if you wish to get pool from people to do their dirty work is it has to rely on extortionist tactics. It isn't enough to offer to harrass peoples vampires, it has to be more compelling. My thought was always, "Look... give me (2 to 4) pool and I will tap out your prey, or if you are unwilling to match my price, well, I'll tap *you* out. It's an offer you can't refuse." I'm sure that tactic would work very nicely for a combat deck. Of course, I understand that my deck concept would never have a chance of winning, but it would fun to try.

Succubus Club is far more effective with - Setites (you offer the corrupted minions on the open market) - Ravnos (you offer the stolen equipment on the open market) - Camarilla Vote Domination decks (you offer pool for boons just to get rid of enough pool to pull off a Parity Shift) - Malkavian Decks (you buy the special cards you need to support your vamps out-of-clan disciplines and pay with a granted Malk Prank Win) - Bribed Vote decks (to collect and distribute boons) - Brujah Arms dealer decks (you sell equipment and Allies) - any intriguing deck trying to manipulate other's Michael Beer

How about altering it to a Presence weenie? Use Mind Numb instead of Jar the Soul. You have the Combat Ends effect (Majesty), Computer Hacking or a presence bleed could be used. A few Social Charms and Enchant Kindred bleeds for pool gain as well as bleeding could be useful. Deflection is difficult though it wouldn't have been quite as easy concentrating on necro weenies since, like you say, there aren't many of them though they do often have Dominate... :( It might work well with Lena Rowe, Hadrian Garrick and Nepata to give you a little Obfuscate as well, and then have a few like Delilah Easton, Gideon Fontaine, Violette Prentis, Mariana Gilbert, Antoinette DuChamp (her drawback doesn't count for anything here) and maybe a few Obfuscate weenies - Basil, Dimple, Dan Murdock. And obviously, with your pool gain you can probably afford a couple of weapons for defence - maybe a nice .44 Magnum or two. -- James Coupe (Prince of Mercia) Change nospam to obeah to reply Vampire: Elder Kindred Network madnessnetwork.hexagon.net

You don't need Succubus Club to construct > a Tap & Bleed Giovanni deckwith it. I don't think you understood my post. I was mostly posting a silly concept deck - would it work? Very unlikely, but I think it would have its own dynamic that would be fun to explore. I doubt it will ever even get made, but I've made stranger decks. > > > The trick I realized if you wish to get pool from people to do their > > dirty work is it has to rely on extortionist tactics. I was actually saying that the tactic of the extortionist threat to get pool would work well with a Succubus Combat deck. Like the deck originally posted. I might be proposing a silly deck with my Jar the Souls, but I'm not stupid enough to think I could just add combat to my proposed Giovanni deck. > > Succubus Club is far more effective with > > - Setites (you offer the corrupted minions on the open market) > - Ravnos (you offer the stolen equipment on the open market) > - Camarilla Vote Domination decks (you offer pool for boons just to get > rid of enough pool to pull off a Parity Shift) > - Malkavian Decks (you buy the special cards you need to support your > vamps out-of-clan disciplines and pay with a granted Malk Prank Win) > - Bribed Vote decks (to collect and distribute boons) > - Brujah Arms dealer decks (you sell equipment and Allies) > - any intriguing deck trying to manipulate other's Thanks for the list of effectiveness, but I still think you missed the point.

Well after paging through the rulesmongers pages of rules/errata/clarifications, I was unable to locate the errata that states a minion may play reaction cards during their own turn. This was a RTR 970630, but I cannot find the original post. This came up after a question about the Malkavian Madness network A link to the correct ruling would be very helpfull.
