This question has been bugging me ever since I started playing a Gangrel deck: I have a vampire with regular animalism who successfully employs a raven spy or a murder of crows. Later in the game, I play Animalism on the vampire. Does the retainer nnow have one life or two? The vampire now has superior animalism, so the retainer should have 2 life, but the reatiner was played when the vampire only had regular animalism, so it should have 1 life. Any insights?
