The Disciplines question has come up based on past decisions declaring Master cards are owned by the playing Methuselah. When that Methuselah is removed from play all Master cards owned by that Methuselah are removed as well. Thus, if Methuselah 'A' plays Fame on one of Mehtuselah 'B's minions, it goes away when Methuselah 'A' is removed from the table. Is this decision still in effect? If so, are Master Discipline cards handled the same way if played on another Methuselah's minions? Would any Discipline cards played on Methuselah 'B's minions from Methuselah 'A' disappear if Mehtuselah 'A' is removed from play? A Sleeping Mind question on the Superior portion of the card has come up in my group. In the new ELDB it states that minions can not untap during the current action. Forced Awakening's and Wake with Evening Freshness's are exempt from this based upon their text of being able to react to the current action "as if untapped", however, a 2nd Tradition would not be usable. Is this this still current? No, only the cards "controlled" by her. > Thus, if Methuselah 'A' plays Fame on one of Mehtuselah 'B's minions, it goes > away when Methuselah 'A' is removed from the table. If she still controls them, yes (that is, if they haven't been stolen/traded by some effect). > A Sleeping Mind question on the Superior portion of the card has come up in my > group. LSJ already answered this but I just had to insert the funny (at least to me) story of what happened last week when I played: My predator (a Gangrel potence deck) had placed a Fame on my Astrid and then managed to bleed me down to 4 pool. I didn't do much during my turn but during my prey's turn, first Ellen Fence tried to attack Thadius (and Muaziz blocked) and then some other City Gangrel tried to Arson my Chantry (essential when playing with my playgroup). I blocked with my untapped Astrid but got torporized by some Wolf Claws (down to 1 pool now). At this point, I was just about ready to call it quits, since it was clear that the Fame was going to kill me, if not my predator's bleeds first. But amusingly enough, my grandpredator, playing !Malks managed to bleed my predator down to a single pool so that my predator was ousted by his own Fame! (And since the Fame went away, I got to survive another turn or two). I know it's happened to other people before, but I still find it incredibly entertaining when people get ousted by their own Fames! =) Halcyan 2
