So at our tournament the other night, there was a question if Oubliette's superior ability (burn a blood after the S:CE) worked if combat ended at long range (i.e. I attck you, I manuver to long, you Oubliette at superior). We were unsure, based on knowing that Catatonic Fear's superior damage was updated at some point to only work if range was close whan combat ended, so the general consensus among the cadre of judges was that it only worked at close range, due to the Catatonic Fear precident. I just went to look and make sure, and apparently, Oubliette has no such limitation. Which is fine, but I'm wondering why? Which is fine, but I'm wondering why? The shadows have a longer reach. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Or, more card game specifically, Catatonic Fear has its "close range only" enshrined in its current (CE) printing. Since Oubliette has no such restriction (nor do some other strike: combat ends side effects), it works no matter what the range during combat was. Josh oubliette gentille oubliette
