OK, I lied. Here's another question: :) Enchant Kindred allows you to put blood onto younger uncontrolled vampires. If the capacity is met, does that vampire still wait until the end of the Influence phase to come out? If the vamp is only one below capacity, does the second blood still go onto it, and then flow back into the Blood Pool after revealing, or does it immediately 'cap'? Can you deliberately "overflow" a vampire with multiple Enchant Kindred cards from multiple sources? (To scare your opponents into thinking that your one-capacity Caitiff is a 6 or 7 capacity badass, or something else equally meta-useful)

Yep. No introducing new vampires in the middle of your minion phase. >If the vamp is only one below capacity, does the second >blood still go onto it, and then flow back into the Blood >Pool after revealing, or does it immediately 'cap'? A full vampire must move into the controlled area at the end of the influence phase; that's compulsory. A vampire with blood in excess of capacity loses that blood immediately to the Blood Bank. Therefore, if Smudge is Enchanted twice, at the end of the influence phase he moves into the controlled area with 4 blood, 3 of which immediately drain off to the blood bank. Since Smudge won't leave the uncontrolled region until the _end_ of the influence phase, however, you can spend transfers to move blood off him to your pool before that happens. Moving blood off a vampire and into the pool costs 2 transfers rather than one, so barring an Info Highway, you're only getting 2 blood off of him. >Can you deliberately "overflow" a vampire with multiple >Enchant Kindred cards from multiple sources? Sure, with the caveat that once a vampire is at or over capacity, he must move into the controlled region at the end of your next influence phase. >(To scare your opponents into thinking that your >one-capacity Caitiff is a 6 or 7 capacity badass, or >something else equally meta-useful) Since typically they won't have a chance to take any actions or play any action cards between the time you overfill the Caitiff and the time he's revealed, this is a tactic of limited use. Plus, since you can only Enchant a younger vampire, it'll be a pretty obvious bluff unless all the Enchanters are 7 or 8 capacity. The first time Gideon Fontaine Enchants, they'll know the vampire is 2 capacity or smaller. gomi -- PART II: WHAT DOSE DIRECT X 8.00 HAEV THAT TEH OTHARS DIDANT NOT INCLUDE? many things, stuped!!! but they dont work -Jeff K.

Blood only "drains off" to the blood bank once the vampire becomes controlled. > Can you deliberately "overflow" a vampire with multiple > Enchant Kindred cards from multiple sources? Yes. But it will become controlled at the end of your influence phase (unless you transfer enough blood off of it before then). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Yes, it has to wait until the end of your Influence phase to come out. > If the vamp is only one below capacity, does the second > blood still go onto it, and then flow back into the Blood > Pool after revealing, or does it immediately 'cap'? It can have more blood on it than its capacity, which you may transfer off during your influence phase, before it comes into play. > Can you deliberately "overflow" a vampire with multiple > Enchant Kindred cards from multiple sources? In the case that cards affecting capacity (skill cards, some Praxis', etc.) are on the vampire, do these take into effect before or after the draining of blood? For example: I have what is normally a 5-cap vampire with two skill cards (making him a 7-cap in play). But he gets Banished and so he's only treated as a 5-cap while I have to re-influence him. If I put 7 blood on him and he then enters play, will the blood drain off before the capacity-enhancing effect of the skill cards kicks in? Thanks! Halcyan 2
