If player A declared bleed, player B (his prey) refused to block, then player A plays Conditioning to increase bleed, can player B play Second Tradition: Domain to untap his Prince and deflect bleed to another player or not? Second Tradition states that the minion must attempt to block. Thanks in advance, Ector

[ quoted text not captured ] He can't play 2nd after declining to block, no.

Ector wrote: [ quoted text not captured ] As far as I am aware, you need to attempt to block with 2nd Tradition. If you fail to block, you can still Deflect, however. So play the 2nd, try and block, and when they stealth past you, play the Deflection. [ quoted text not captured ] Correct. Second Tradition requires the minion to attempt to block. If the minion cannot (because of a previous decision not to block, Memories of Mortality, Seduction, or whatever), then the minion cannot play Second Tradition (or anything else that requires a block attempt). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
