Sabbat Priest [Sabbat:C, SW:C/PV, BH:PM2, Third:C/PB]
Cardtype: Political Action
Requires a ready Sabbat vampire.
Choose a ready Sabbat vampire. Successful referendum means that for
the remainder of the game, any vampire attempting to block the chosen
vampire burns 1 blood.
Artist: Lawrence Snelly
Is the effect cumulative?
-if Aaron Duggan has Sabbat Priest casted on him twice, does blocking
vampire burn 2 blood when attempting to block?
-is burning blood a requirement for succesful block? -can a vampire
with zero blood block Sabbat Priest?
-Crocodile's tongue question,
Crocodile's Tongue [Gehenna:C, LoB:PO3]
Cardtype: Action Modifier
Discipline: Auspex
[aus] Only usable when an ally or a younger vampire attempts to block.
That block is canceled (the minion is not tapped). The blocking
minion's controller cannot attempt to block this action again. The
blocking minion can cancel this card by burning a blood or life.
[AUS] As above, but canceling this card requires an additional blood
or life.
Artist: Leif Jones
Can Metuselah burn 2 blood from the blocking vampire (or 2 life from
ally) and then choose another minion to block? ..or does it have to be
the same minion blocking?
Thanks!

No. The effect "burn 1 blood" is applied at the attempt. It is not required that
the effect successfully burn a blood in order to continue the attempt.

Yes.

The currently-blockin minion (the one who burned 2 blood or life) is still the
currently-blocking minion. No other minion can attempt to block until that block
attempt is abandoned (due to insufficient intercept, for example).
[ quoted text not captured ]>From the card text, I can't see any reason a minion couldn't have
multiple priests applied. I don't think multiples would work however,
since it doesn't say an *additional* blood to block, just that it
takes 1.
A minion on 0 blood couldn't attempt a block, since the requirement is
to pay the blood to *attempt* to block.
As for crocodiles tongue, the meth pays 2 to *cancel* the card, so the
block is therefore still continuing, if it fails, then of course
another minion can attempt to block.

No, it is not a cost, it is an effect, do as much as possible. If at 0
blood, there is no more blood to burn, like trying to steal 2 blood
from a vamp with only 1 blood left.
You burn 1 blood for each card, as each card triggers on its own at a
block attempt; i.e. Sabbat Priest (1) - burn 1 blood, Sabbat Priest
(2) - burn 1 blood, Sabbat Priest (3) - burn 1 blood: Net result - 3
blood burnt.

The card states that "any vampire attempting to block the chosen
vampire burns 1 blood.", NOT that "A vampire must burn 1 blood to
attempt to block."
The way the card is written, the vampire must already be *attempting*
to block for the burn blood clause to apply.
