Any such animal? The reason I ask is that I thought I read that the "promo" vamps found in Inquest will be part of the actual set. Did I misunderstand something? Am I correct that there will be 4 different starter Decks (Tzimisce, Lasombra, Bruja Antribu, and Ventrue Antribu)? On a totally unrelated note, is it worth the $ to get a box of DS or AH? Thanks, Todd Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

I don't know about where you are but here in OZ DS are going cheap so they're worth buying. AH are much more expensive but there are some great cards in the set... White Wolf have said that if Sabbat War sells well then they may bring out an expansion to beef up the independent clans so you might want to wait for that...or not... > > Thanks, > Todd > you're welcome, theventrue [ quoted text not captured ]

The card lists on White Wolf have rarity listed. (Except for vampires, which are all "Vampire" rarity). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. I don't have any of the DS or AH or Sabbat cards, I only have an almost complete set of Jyhad from waaay back (and the thousands of cards I bought to get there). I'd like to get back into the game, but I don't know much about the other sets other than what I've read here and on other sites. Speaking of which, does anyone know where I can buy massive amounts of commons and uncommons of DS, AH, or Sabbat? Maybe someone has tons of extras they'd like to get rid of? Like I said, I'd like to get back into the game if I can. BTW, where is OZ?? [ quoted text not captured ]

You'll really want the Sabbat vampires, but I would wait until after Sabbat War comes out, as there may be Sabbat vampires reprinted in it. >BTW, where is OZ?? It's worth buying a box of DS. As Derek said the vampires are very useful. i think the camarilla vampires in DS are better than the ones in AH. DS is the only set that released the Inner Circle members (11 point vampires) and some of them are game winners. DS also has some extremely useful cards that the camarilla bunch can use e.g. Aire of Elation Banishment Heidelburg Castle Pentex Subversion Legendary vampire Thoughts Betrayed Toreador Grand Ball Look them up on white wolf's site. i'm sure they'll whet your appetite. AH also has some generally useful cards but instead of paying the exorbitant amounts a box goes for these days you could trade for these cards at the succubus club http://vampire.tne.net.au/ Dreams of the sphinx - rare and valuable (hard to trade for) kiss of ra - uncommon and pretty good parthenon - common to uncommon (although it's listed as rare at the site, it's not really, i've got tons) signet of king saul - rare but fairly easy to trade for blood to water - common and useful atonement - common and very useful Sabbat has some good cards but you might as well wait for the new expansion (due on Oct 31) in which many of the sabbat cards will be reprinted. OZ? - Australia. theventrue if you want any more information send me an email and i'll give you a more detailed breakdown of which cards are useful and what they're worth when trading. chr...@comcen.com.au [ quoted text not captured ]
