Anarch Tremere and Gargoyles

From the text of Create Gargoyle: "This Gargoyle is the same sect as the acting vampire and is not unique." To my knowledge, this is the only 'create a new vampire' card that doesn't default the sect. Does this mean that if a Tremere "Goes Anarch", and then Creates a Gargoyle, that it is an Independent Tremere Slave? And if Pugfar "Goes Anarch", is he still a !Tremere Slave (albeit of the Independent 'sect')?
