This came up in a recent discussion about Lutz's special, and we're not sure how it all works.
Setup, 4 players
Player A, controlling Lutz, 3 pool
Player B, 3 pool
Player C, 1 pool
Player D, some pool
Lutz calls a Kine, assigning 3 pool to player B, and 1 pool to player D, as, via http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad... (http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/msg/f99df8aae264771f) , this will oust both players B & C (from Lutz's text).
Player B plays a poison pill, and then the vote passes.
Clearly B is ousted.
From the P.S note in http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad... (http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/browse_thread/thread/ad26a254f31ba6f6) , I believe Player A is ousted at the same time, since the pool loss from poison pill resolves at the same time as the loss from the Kine, so player A gains a VP and player D gains 6 pool and a VP.
What we're unclear on is whether Player C burns a pool for Lutz's text or not, giving D a second VP. Lutz sets up an effect which will be resolved even if he's no longer in the game at that point, but, as far as I can see, Player C was never Player A's prey, so I guess the effect is "Player B burns 1 pool", which is moot as Player B is ousted anyway.

Camarilla Malkavian Inner Circle:
While Lutz is ready, your prey burns a pool each time the referendum of a political action passes. +2 bleed.
Poison Pill
Only usable during a referendum, before votes are cast.
If the referendum passes and the effect of the referendum causes you to lose pool, the controller of the acting vampire loses the same amount of pool (in addition to the effects of the referendum).
