Hello LSJ,
Vamps A and B, controlled by different Methuselahs, are contesting the Ivory Bow. Vamp A's controller plays Anachronism on Vamp B. What happens?
A) Ivory Bow on Vamp B burns and Vamp A gets it back on his next untap
B) Nothing, since Ivory Bow is out-of-play and no effects can affect it until it is back in play

B. And once it ceases to be contested, if B's copy is the one that remains, it is burned by Anachronism's text.

I can almost see this as a subliminal message to play inferior cards if it was subliminal in any way.
