Dreams and WwEF question

This came up in one of our games last night. Another player taps the Dreams during my turn to draw two cards and increase his hand size by two. He plays two WwEF, which he does not replace until his next untap phase. At the end of my turn, the effect of the Dreams wears off, and he is holding seven cards. Does he discard two more cards, thus leaving him with five cards in hand, and replace those two during his next untap, or does he check his hand size of seven, have seven cards, and do nothing? Aplogies if this is a FAQ. Googling didn't turn up anything. David Cherryholmes Duke Radiology P.E.T. Facility (919) 684-7714 d...@petsparc.mc.duke.edu

He discards two. He'll draw to replace the two wakes during his next untap phase. Cards you are currently not replacing count against your hand size. That's why he didn't draw back up to 9 before the Dreams effect wore off, and that's why he discards two when his hand size is decreased by two when the Dreams effect does wear off. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
