I believe this may have been lost the last time I posted it... so here it goes
again.
3 questions for Tom Wylie, regarding JYHAD:
1) Minion Tap - is this card a "One time only" card (ie. you play Minion Tap
and take some blood from a minion, then drop the Minion Tap into the Ash
Heap) or does it remain, like a location, whereas you can take blood from any
one of your minions each turn? Also, does this tap the minion and what phase
is the "minion tapping" done on (Master, minion or upkeep)...
2) The Barrens - Can you tap/use this card on the turn you bring it into
play? When you use it, do you use it instead of playing a Master Card, and,
furthermore, do you use it during the Master Phase or whenever...
3) Nosferatu - There are 2 Nosferatu (Tusk and Grendel I believe) who allow
you to look at the top card in your library or crypt, repectively. My
question on these cards is: can you use this ability the turn the Minions are
brought into play, and during what phase does the ability occur (minion,
master, upkeep)...
Thanks in advance...

There are certain conditions for a card being left in play when used:
1. Being a skill, location, equipment, ally, or retainer
2. Giving a condition for being burnt or stolen
3. If it says to "play on" something, e.g. "play on a ready vampire"
4. Has a tapping ability (actually redundant with 1-3)
Minion Tap doesn't meet any of these conditions, so it's simply used once
and then burned.

You can always use a master card the turn it enters play unless the card
text specifically says not to, or the timing simply wouldn't work out
(e.g. you can't use "during untap" abilities in the turn you play it,
since the untap phase has already passed by...) But you can use a Blood
Doll the turn you play it, for example.

They can be used the turn they are brought into play, but note that they
won't be "ready" until the end of your influence phase (when they pop out
of your uncontrolled region and into your ready region) so wouldn't be
usable before then. For example, you cannot finish putting blood on
Grendel and immediately see what the top card of your crypt is; you would
have to wait until your discard phase.

Oh?!? The wording on the Blood Doll is that it can be used in each of
your master phases for the *remainder* of the game. I thought this
wording was chosen to specifically exclude the master phase that the
Blood Doll was played on...

No, it's just pointing out that the transfer is not a one-shot deal.
