Blood range text: "Can only be used at close range"
You can't play the card at all at long range, and therefore you must
choose a different strike and your opponent gets to shoot you.

Majesty: "strike - end combat"
At close or long range, your strike ends combat. Period.
End combat is not a ranged attack, nor a close attack, it simply
is not an attack at all, but a strike which ends the combat.
