Couldn't find answers to this setup of question on the newsgroup so
far, so rather than look more dilligently, I'll just ask you all:
Setup:
My prey's Arika has one blood counter on him, and I have a Temptation
with one counter on Arika.
I call a vote to remove an Anarch Revolt of my predator's (with a
non-titled vampire), and my prey calls Arika's votes in favor. I then
decide to burn my temptation counter and take control of Arika while
votes are still being declared.
Question 1: Is Arika still committed to voting in favor of the
referendum?
Question 2: My prey has Elysium: Palace of Versaille in play, and
tapped it before I took control of Arika. After I take control of her
(when the vote resolves), does she count as having cast 4 votes in
favor, or 5?
Question 3: Bribes were played on the vote. Who gets pool from Arika
having voted in favor? My prey, or me, or both?
Question 4: What about if Arika had voted against and I had played
Scorn of Adonis? Do we both lose pool, or just one of us?

Yes. If Arika cast the votes before you took control she still has cast
her votes in favour.

She counts as 4 votes since it says additional vote on the Elysium. The
additional vote is lost since you do not control the Elysium in
question.

I would say you since even though it was your prey who voted in favour
(by using Arikas votes) if he/she has no other votes when the results
are tallied then the result is that Arika is voting in favour for you
(as Methuselah).

With the same logic as Question 3, you lose pool.
Archie
I don't have access to the errata and rulings page but all my answers
above might be totally void if it is not possible to use Temptation
during an action.
It doesn't say on the card (as with Heidelberg Castle for example) but
could still be an errata or ruling.

Yes, since nothing has changed that.

4. The votes are bestowed at the time of tapping.

You played Bribes, so you get 1 pool for the play; you got that pool
back when it was played.
You cannot gain any more pool from the Bribes you played, regardless of
Arika's disposition.
Your prey gets 1 pool from the Bribes if, when votes are tallied, none
of your prey's votes (form Arika or anyone else) are cast against and
at least one (from Arike or anyone else) is cast in favor.

The prey loses, since the loss occurs at tallying.

5, that is, since the votes are bestowed at tapping.
(I misread the set-up as the prey stealing Arika).

Again, I misread the question (transferring Arika from "me" to "my
prey" rather than the other way around). The prey gets pool only if one
of his votes is cast in favor and none agaist, and Arika's votes don't
figure into that, since prey doesn't control Arika.

Again, misreading the question.
Prey doesn't control Arika, so prey doesn't lose for her votes.
You control Arika, you lose pool if she votes against (which she does).

Okay, I think this makes sense... so in general, the rule of thumb
would be 'the votes are bestowed at the time of declaration, and
ulitmately count as having come from the player who controls the voter
at the time of tallying'?
