Someone I gamed with yesterday said that he has never gotten a clear
answer on whether or not when you use corruption counters does the
minion you have corrupted move your ready controlled area or do they
stay put.
So player A corrupts minion with 3 cap from player B
does Player A move 3 cap to his ready area?
If player B is ousted does the 3 Cap leave the table with him even
though he is controlled by another? (golden rule of ownership)
I have looked this up on the board with keyword corruption and
ownership and i found a post from 1997 from LJS saying that if Player
B was ousted then all his vampires that are controlled by someone go
with him.
Is that ruling still in effect?

Sort of mixing the definition. Your ready region is exactly the area on the
table occupied by the ready minions you control.
You would normally move the minion to reflect this (so as to keep your ready
region shaped nicely and contained nicely to the area on the table in front of
you), but that's just convention.

If he has control of the minion, and it is ready, then it is in his ready
region, by definition. He should move it so that the table state accurately
reflects the game state.

?
From the rulebook:
1.3. Golden Rule of Card Ownership
Your cards are never transferred to another player permanently as a result of
card play. At the end of the game, the cards you began the game with are
returned to you. If you are ousted before the end of the game, any of your cards
that other players control remain in play until burned as normal.

No. (Who's LJS? :-)
There are two concepts here. Owning a card, and Controlling a card. At
the end of the game, the owner gets back all the cards that they
played with in their deck (unless foolishly playing for ante). During
the game, however, what matters is Control of a card.
By default, minion cards are controlled by the minion they are on, and
thus Controlled by the minion's methuselah. When a methuselah is
ousted, all their Controlled cards go with them and are burned.
Control of a card can change by various cards that allow another
methuselah to take control or steal the card. If a minion stole your
Assault Rifle earlier, it would remain in play if you are ousted. If
you Deranged a vampire of your prey, they would remain Deranged if you
are ousted. However, if you had a Temptation on your prey and you are
ousted, the Temptation would burn with you, as card text states that
you still control the card. Once the game is over, though, you get
your Assault Rifle and Derange back.
Master cards are Controlled by the methuselah who played them, unless
card text states that control of the card switched to another
methuselah. Even if played on another methuselah, they will burn if
you get ousted. So your Fame and Haven Uncovered on your prey's minion
will burn if you are ousted.
