On the IS&S card, it says it will burn any weapon with a cost more than 2 or damage more than 3? Should those "more"s be "equal to or more"s? It seems to me that his is the only way those cards would be of any real use would be if that were true. According to Marier's list, the only weapon that cost 3 or more would be the assault rifle and I have yet to see a weapon that did 4 or more damage (though with a cost of 5, the assault rifle but just do it). -- ============================================================================ Geoffrey DeWan gdewan@prairienet.org

Submachine Guns do 4R and cost 4 pool (qualifying on both counts), and Flamethrowers do 2R (agg) and also cost 4 pool. So far, none of these 3 weapons have actually been fired in combat in our group. They either get IS&S'd or someone plays a "strike to destroy weapon" card on them in their first combat. They're just too scary to let live :) Alec -- Alec Habig, Indiana University High Energy Astrophysics ahabig@bigbang.astro.indiana.edu http://astrowww.astro.indiana.edu/personnel/ahabig/ Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my guns.

IS&S will burn any weapon which meets one or both of the following terms: 1. Costs more than 2 pool. 2. Does more than 3 damage. Weapons which qualify: RPG Launcher, Talbot's Chainsaw, Assault Rifle, Bomb, Flame Thrower, Submachine Gun. The only other weapon I can think of offhand that fulfills either condition of the IS&S is the Bomb, and unfortunately we can never use the Seizure on the bomb in our play group 'cuz it's always a Disguised Bomb... Gee, I block Masika with Normal. Oops, his trenchcoat was actually a BOMB! Sorry, you die. Can we find a way to get the bomb aggravated? No, we'll just play Taste of Vitae, and survive. Next bomb, please! Aargh. |> So far, none of these 3 weapons have actually been fired in combat in our |> group. The nastiest was when I stuck it on a Renegade Garou (and had Manstopper and Glaser Rounds in my hand, all waiting) and someone ate the Assault Rifle with Canine Horde the first time I got into combat. NRGG! Oh, well. The Masquerade goes on (or whatever... Wonder when the Sabbat expansion, or maybe an International Vampire sort of expansion will come out. Wonder if WOTC is planning to do expansions by city or something weird like that, instead... tho it would be interesting and give the Princes more character...) -Evan (Evan Gridley, ejg1@cornell.edu) |> |> Alec |> -- |> Alec Habig, Indiana University High Energy Astrophysics |> ahabig@bigbang.astro.indiana.edu |> http://astrowww.astro.indiana.edu/personnel/ahabig/ |> Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my guns.
